This was our 2nd day in a row covering at the beautiful Serendipity Gardens in Oak Glen, Ca. We couldn't have been more honored to take part in Kazel and Kael's story. So much fun and so much history that came into making this day what it was. We cant say thank you enough!
Our blog is back up so please enjoy our next featured wedding!
Florist: Gina Aragon and Stephanie Rodriquez
How and when did the couple meet?
We met through a mutual friend, Ashley Ross, 2 years ago in April 2016. She was neighbors with David and told him she had a single friend who was perfect for him. He reached out on a Friday night and we had our first date five days later at Casino Morongo. Natalie knew after that first date that he was the one :)
How did the proposal take place?
David secretly planned the proposal with Natalie's best friend Stacy Hansen. He brought her to the Disneyland Resort, her favorite place, and Stacy set up the spot it would happen. On top of the bridge at California Adventure, David asked Natalie to marry him. It was perfect... our proposal went viral and we even became a meme!
What was your fondest wedding moment?
Both of our favorite moments were seeing each other during the first look.. the anticipation all day waiting made the moment amazing!
Interesting facts about you and your spouse that you would like to share.
We both love to travel and go on adventures. That is why we had the theme of vintage travel throughout the wedding.
Where do you reside and what are your occupations?
We currently live in Rancho Cucamonga, California but will be moving to Stafford, Virginia. David is a Major in the Marine Corps while Natalie is a Hair Stylist
Who were your favorite wedding vendors?
All of our vendors were amazing! The cupcake truck from Lil Miss Shortcakes was a huge hit! And the team at A Touch of Soul Productions really went above and beyond. Everyone who was a part of our special day made everything perfect!
What advice do you have for future brides?
Don't stress over the small things and little details. Take in every moment with your husband. The best compliment I received the day after was they had never seen a happier bride and they loved that I took in every word David said. Take a moment for yourselves during the reception. No one remembers the center pieces or linens. They remember the love between the couple :)
