I started videography when I was in university back in 2006
We had a class project and we were asked to make a short film. I ended up directing that video and it was a success when we premiered it. I never looked back since. Making videos became my lifestyle.
My favorite type of video content when not working is doing lifestyle travel videos. I keep a personal stash of video diaries from my wife and I travel experiences.
The most memorable moment while working with ATOS was getting to do lead shooting for the company. I especially loved the experience when I shot for ATOS and the location was Huntington Beach. I was able to show ATOS how I tell my wedding stories.
Its been alright. Right because I have the luxury of time and creative space. Alright because of course I can help but think about people who dont have aid like us. So I try to make solid use of my days so I can live life to the fullest for those who cannot.
I've been doing some juggling with balls. I learned to do it during Covid. I also put a lot of time into my balance board and a lot of time doing yoga and meditation.
Surf San Onofre all day :)

When I was major in TV/Film in university. Back then, everything was still on film strip and tape.
While working in the TV studio, I was introduced to the wedding industry and fell in love with it right away. It’s a day full of love and romance, celebration and excitement, and I really enjoyed capturing and narrating the emotion through camera lens
Selfie?! Events and Travel photo/video.
Every moment with ATOS is precious and fun! Our team can always bring joy to any situation.
Crazy busy working from home with 2 precious little monsters and a husband. Instantly, I am also a full time teacher, cook, nanny, housekeeper, and trainer. At the same time, enjoying spending the time with them. Feeling like getting to know them again after spending 24 hours, 7 days a week together!
To create a homeschool environment and fun actives for kids.
To hang out with friends, spend times in favorite restaurants, and go to beach!

Around 2005, when my wife bought me my first camera which was a Nikon D200 and asked some friends if they wanted some pictures.
When I joined filipino club in college and was on cabinet to document events other than a point and shoot camera. Also, there was a professional photographer I met, who currently works with the Hollywood press, taking our filipino club’s hip hop dance teams portraits and I was intrigued to learn how clean the photographers images were. My first mentor, my college friend invited me to attend a 1 hour speaker event in Burbank and totally inspired me with things he learned and shared thru his decades of years of portrait and wedding photography.
Travel photography, fashion photography, food photography: all casual.
Every moment with ATOS is good cause I learn at least one thing, one new idea, from each other, whether it’s casual, business, photo or video skill.
Hard to stay at home when you are on the go or have daily routines that involve commuting. Life is battling cobwebs on the ceiling and dust bugs in and around the floor corners. Also, my wife and I start our cars every morning and go for a quick run while the engine parts are kept working and not idle in the garage. Otherwise, we have food and grocery delivery and don’t go out unless necessary.
Dusted off the old Super Nintendo and play old school video games cause I’m too old for these advanced consoles. Other than that, its mostly taking out the trash, sweeping the inside and outside floors, watching news on occasion, and organizing and reorganizing parts of the house.
My wife and I are missing All you can eat sushi and Korean BBQ!

Wilson Creek Winery is a family-owned and operated winery, vineyard, and event venue in Temecula, CA. We are most famous for our Almond Sparkling Wine, and we are also well known for our other award winning still wines, incredible Sunday brunch, weddings/events, concerts, and our amazing hospitality that we take so much pride in. Our venue has a little bit of everything to appeal to the masses!
My name is Jenae, and I am the Assistant Director of Sales & Catering. I have been in the hospitality industry since I was 15 years old, so 13 years. I have been with Wilson Creek Winery for 4 years and couldn’t be happier!
My favorite part is interacting with our amazing team. We are definitely a family here, and I am so thankful for each and every one of them. It is also amazing doing site tours and showing off the venue, our team, and of course the Wilsons when they are our wandering about with their dogs.
Yvonne + Nirav - Wilson Creek Winery, CA
The most memorable moment working at Wilson Creek (and actually of all time) is when I got a call from a panicked bride who had just lost her venue the day prior to her wedding in the Malibu fire back in November 2018. We were able to secure staff, a full plated dinner, and of course the venue for 260 people in a day’s notice (on a holiday weekend) to make the wedding of their dreams happen. The majority of their guests flew in from Portugal, so it wasn’t like they had a chance to postpone it. We needed to make it happen, and it needed to be fast! It was truly incredible, and I still get emotional thinking about that day. It is something I will remember for the rest of my life and I am so thankful to have been a part of it.
Yvonne + Nirav - Wilson Creek Winery Ceremony Kiss
I’m not going to lie, it has been rough! We have lost a lot of business of course, but we are so lucky to have so many people who care and support us during these times. We are currently open for to-go food orders Wednesday-Sunday as well as curbside wine pickups. People can also still purchase our wines in major stores across the US, so that is definitely helping us to stay afloat during these unprecedented times. We can’t wait to welcome back our entire team once this is all over.
Yvonne + Nirav - Wilson Creek Reception
Is drinking a good answer? Haha! Honestly, we are just soaking up all this extra time we get to spend with our almost 2-year-old, Liam. He is constantly bouncing off the walls, so we need to keep coming up with new ways to keep him entertained! We, of course, have been able to tackle some home projects as well!
Yvonne + Nirav - Wilson Creek Winery Inside Reception
Hmmmm, well we would first and foremost plan a large family get together! Liam misses his grandparents and the rest of the family so much. But besides that, I would probably have to say SeaWorld! We have season passes, and Liam has been asking to go since this whole thing started. He will be so happy to see the sharks and dolphins again!

Someone once said - A Photograph is the pause button of life. A Touch of Soul Productions couldn’t agree more!
Why then, do we tend to dread the yearly tradition of taking family photos? Is it the daunting task of getting everyone together? The stress of figuring out what to wear? Finding the time? We get it! But, we also are here to tell you that it’s all worth it!! Press that pause button at least once a year! Leave it up to the professionals to guide you up to and through the session. Those memories? They’ll be captured forever.
Click HERE to book your family photo session with us!
Here are 5 reasons we think having professional family portraits taken are so important:
They’re important for kids’ emotional development. Having a family photo serves as a reminder for our children about the importance of the family unit. It boosts their self esteem, documents their growth, and serves as a reminder of the importance of family values.
They eliminate the stress of taking your own photos. Leave it up to the pros! We all have countless photos on our phones. But there's something special about relaxing and letting a professional do their thing. Even if you have squirmy wiggle-worm kiddos! Some of the candid images captured during will be the ones you cherish most!
They provide beautiful art for your home. A family portrait canvas hanging above your couch or fireplace sets the tone in your home. The most beautiful canvas in the world is the one featuring your most precious works of art!
They serve as a tradition. Whether it’s the annual Holiday photo shoot, or the casual session on the beach - it’s always fun to look forward to dressing up, hanging out, and having some gorgeous memories to take away from the day!
They document changes! Remember that one year that your son grew 4 inches? Documented! Remember when you had red hair? Uggh. Documented! =) Two front teeth missing? All documented. What a fun thing to have - for current AND future generations!

Go for it! You should always do what makes you happy! At A Touch of Soul Productions, we come equipped to handle any lighting situation and have years of experience with many different venues and circumstances, including nighttime weddings. Because you never have to worry about your images not coming out nicely, go ahead and have your dream wedding and leave the details to us! We have shot in the darkest of dark chapels and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get focused pictures. Some chapels do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, we shoot on cameras with superb low-light performance and lenses with low apertures
We sure do! Engagement shoots are complimentary with all our photo packages. We work with you to plan the engagement shoot of your dreams, including location selection and wardrobe recommendations. Additionally, we can even help you design pieces for your wedding using your engagement shoot photos for sign-in boards, guest books, save-the-date cards, thank you cards, table place settings, and much more. A Touch of Soul also offers many wonderful album options to help you remember your engagement shoot forever. Be sure to check out our other blog post for more information about scheduling your own engagement shoot for a lifetime of special memories!
Jessica + Gabe - Heisler Park, CA
We believe that capturing our couples as themselves is our main goal. Our photography styles typically vary for our clients, but we love our natural light bright and airy, while providing our couples with colorful and dramatic images as well! Our first question to our clients is; do you have a particular style you love? Our style again varies, but is consistent. Although we are not in a closed set and the day goes so quick, we strive within the constraints of a busy wedding day.
All of our gear is professional grade SLR's. Ranging from Sony A9's and A7III's, G master and Zeiss Lenses, Canon Mirrorless and Mark IV's and L level lenses throughout. On top of that, we have our audio gear that range from some of the highest quality Tascam systems and H6 audio recorders.
We have also covered many weddings in which we do not speak the primary language of the ceremony. We approach these weddings with research, understanding the traditions and culture of the wedding. We also have talk-through meetings with our couples before the wedding to ensure we are aware of the major moments. Lastly, we always ensure that we stay alert, leaning on the instincts that we have developed for capturing the emotion and the stories at any given moment.
In our cinematography, if our editors do not understand the language spoken, we take a similar approach. First, we ensure that we have strong communication with you to understand the important moments from the day. We also find aspects in English to drive the story. This might be a heartfelt toast at the reception or personal messages that you give to each other, recorded during your wedding preparation.
So while different languages can present challenges, in the end, artistry, creativity, and storytelling are all universal concepts that our team will portray in your photography and cinematography.
Ashley + Steve - Coto De Caza
No. We take every measure to ensure consistent style and quality among our photographers. We have developed the unique style you see in our work over the years. Each shoot is reviewed to ensure our quality and style are consistent. All mistakes, no matter how minor, are scrutinized by the team. We trust that the quality and style of photography you receive will be consistent. However, we tailor our shooting style and techniques to our client requests. For example, some clients may prefer a light and airy look while others may prefer dramatic lighting and shadows. In the end, we want to capture the best version of YOU! =)
No, we do not. We want to give you everything and anything we shoot - it's your day and we feel like we should never keep this away from our couples. However, we do eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because we shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. With our expertise of processing millions of images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.
We typically do not. But we aren't against it if this is something that you absolutely want and need for the day. Our job is to give you everything and anything we can fully edit and color grade to its best but we never keep anything away from you that would add to this memorable day.
Yvonne + Nirav - Wilson Creek Winery, CA
Typically, the photographer you meet with will be the photographer for your engagement session and wedding. Not only will you meet your shooter on that day but you will begin the process with our entire team. It's a process leading into your day and its our job to create an experience for you from beginning to the moment you receive your final product. You may request to meet with a specific photographer; otherwise, we’ll make the decision based on personality, availability, language abilities, and your referral.
Yes we do. Every image we deliver is post produced with our unique signature style of post-production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections
Yes. In many cases, 8 hours would work great. We build our packages by gauging what the average couple built for themselves. However, whenever it involves a ton of culture such as tea ceremonies or middle eastern weddings, we would recommend at least 10-12 hours to ensure as much of the day is covered.
Have a question? We’d love to hear from you and answer your question in a future blog post!

We know how important hair and makeup are to you, especially on your wedding day! We talked to some of our brides and came up with a few tips and tricks that will make your day as flawless as you are! =)
• Be sure to have a hair and makeup trial at least a month before your wedding. This will give you peace of mind to know exactly how you will look and give you the opportunity to change things in advance if necessary. Make sure to bring all jewelry to the trial to see how makeup shades work with the pieces.
• Have your florist deliver your flowers to where you are getting ready, not the ceremony venue. Since you never know when the mood will strike for a great photo, you’ll want your flowers there and ready to go.
• Find out what the rules for photographs are at the ceremony location. All venues are different, some restricting the location of photographs and even the times in which they are permitted.
• If possible, arrange to have your formal photographs taken before the ceremony. Getting this step out of the way early in the day frees up the rest of your time to spend with your guests. You will be able to go straight to cocktail hour and catch up with loved ones without stress. It’s a new age, so it’s no longer considered bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding.
• Have food delivered to your getting ready location. It may be hectic, but take the time to have a bite before the wedding since it will be a while before you have the opportunity to nourish yourself during the reception.
• Prepare an emergency bridal kit with clear nail polish, mints, a sewing kit, stain treater, eye drops, safety pins, bobby pins, pain reliever, and mini deodorant.
• Allowing 50% more time for hair and makeup than you originally anticipated alleviates the number one reason wedding schedules end up running late. This will assure you have plenty of time for all the portraits you want to take before the wedding.
• Make sure you discuss a “rain plan” with your venue just in case Mother Nature doesn’t see sunshine in the cards.

So many things are spectacular about your wedding day!
While they may seem like small details, the unassuming pillow your ring bearer carried might have been made from your Christening gown. Or those shoes with the delicate pearl buttons may have been your mother’s! Is your 'Something Old' your Grandmother’s bracelet?
These are the smaller, sometimes unnoticed details that tell the story of your special day. They're amazing, and your wedding photos should reflect that!
Whether it’s your bouquet, or your shoe, or your 'Something Blue', it’s all a part of your distinct personality as a couple! You're sharing your yesterdays while you prepare for your many tomorrows - and that's magical!
